Yet another month; oh how we all ache for you; I spent hours last night looking at your sweet face, all the pictures, it just does not seem possible you are up in heaven, I looked at the photos and just remembered all the good stories about you; I so wish I was hearing stories on you now, at three, but I know that is just not possible no matter how hard I wish. Oh why did it have to be this way? I just don't understand.
Sweet angel you are never forgotten. We speak of you every day. The things we do in your honor, we talk of you, we speak of you, we make people aware of sudc, we pay it forward; you are touching so many lives. You are one special little boy. Mommy and Daddy are doing such a good job just getting through these last months, it has been so hard from them. They do feel your love angel so keep sending it. I know Dakota feels your presence often; you are such a good little brother letting him know you are there. And miss Aliva..well she always has your picture nearby so I hear. Everytime I see the wind blow and watch your pinwheel turn I think of you; when I see a butterfly fly I think of you; when it is sunny I think of your smiling face. Not a day goes by I do not think of you or say a prayer for your family. You will always be alive in our hearts; we make sure your presence is felt here on earth.
Keep wrapping mommy in your love; she feels and see's your signs often and that is so wonderful. Like she siad in her tribute above; the next coming months are going to be so difficult. The holidays, then the end of January; it is just going to keep coming; but your love will get her through; and all the wonderful frinedships she has found will be a support as well. 15 Month Angel Day / Mommy Preston another Angel day is here, 15 months. I am stuck just on that 15 months...15 long, quick, painful, sharp, empty months with out you. With out seeing you every day, with out hearing your voice, with out watching you grow up from 21 months old to a 3 year old boy. We have missed so much already in these 15 months it is unreal. Tmrw is big brother's 7th birthday he is growing so fast. Makes me sad to know you only got 1 birthday here with us. He asked me last night what you and he have in common it was fun to think of all the things the two of you did but heart breaking that the list stopped so quickly. Right now I feel stuck between holding on to the past and moving forward. This is normal I have read but it is painful. I have been worrying a lot...nothing new since you left us. Sister will be 17 months old Sunday which means we are getting closer and closer to her being 21 months old...could that be all we get? I know that is irrational believe me I know the difference but it doesn't stop the thoughts. Of course she will be turning 21 months after Christmas which makes me really dread Christmas more than last year. I no longer like the Holidays not a big surprise but I am not given the luxury of skipping them. This year however will be worse it seems I thought all the 1st's without you would be hard but if I have learned anything from celebrating your 3 year birthday again at your graveside, is that the 2nd holidays hurt more. They go unoticed by most but hurt more for your daddy and me. We pretty much just go with the motions this is how we get through each day but you know that. You know we hurt it seems more and more each day that passes. We don't have to even say the words to eachother we can see it in eachothers eyes. Lucky for us we have big brother and little sister to remind us you are with us always. Your name is said in our house all the time. Your smile in our hearts forever. I guess I will end my ramble for today. Just missing you so very much and wanting to write something down. I love you beyond the moon and stars Preston.

Build-A-Bear for your birthday / Mommy
Preston we had so much fun making bears on your birthday. It was bitter sweet like everything we do now cause we could only imagine how much fun you would have making them. Big brother acted like an old pro since he has gone before I think he was pulling our leg that he remembered since he was only 14 months old when he went. He knew just what he was going to make a frog. Picking one out for little sister was a harder task but we decided on a furry pink bear that gave kisses since this bear is for her big brother Preston the kisses seemed to perfect. And for you sweet boy we decided on a pup since you loved to bark at all the dogs anytime you saw one. That was one of the last things you did the night you went to sleep forever. Big brother made your pup he kissed the heart extra special and made a really long wish I can only guess what he wished for as the rest of us wish for you daily. We told the "stuffer" we were here for your birthday getting our kids bears. It was so nice to see the 3 bears all together getting a bath as I can again only imagine the 3 of you now in the bath tub...phew would my floors really sparkle now. We dressed them up big brother wanted his frog to be a football player. We got your pup a Happy Bearday t-shirt and little sisters well hers says Fashio Princess..it fits her hee, hee. Bir brother named yours Preston Jr...you know why. He named his Dakota Frog, what can I say he isn't going to be writing any name books. Daddy and I named little sisters Diva since that is her nickname and it fits this bright pink bear to a T. Afterwards we stopped by to visit you so you could see your pup...so what did you think? I notice you liked your balloons...again this year one balloon was completely gone no trace, no string just gone. The red heart you knew it was my heart for you. Thank you for the sign again on this birthday. We miss you so much son the ache doesn't get any easier. We love you so much. I have been told by so many friends and family of how "Pay It Forward" for your birthday went. I am so proud of all of them they really did a wonderful job and touched so many people. You continue to touch people and I am so greatful for that. I can only guess how many people thought of you on your birthday complete strangers then are now a part of our family as you are one face that can't be forgotten.

Preston! I had so much fun Paying it Forward in your honor on Friday! I was just looking for any opprotunity; letting cars out to make a left turn on a busy intersecttion, left a tip at the coffee house, and bought the lunch for the minivan behind me while going through the drive thru on my way to Bend. I am sure it made that mom's day, as it did mine to do those things in your honor.
I have talked about you all weekend; miss you just so so much. I hope you enjoyed all the balloons that you got for your third birthday!

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the kindness that was shown to me yesterday at the nail salon. My services were paid for by a friend of the family and I was speechless.
I want to offer my sincerest condlences. I have a 5 1/2 month old baby girl and I often take for granted that she will always be here. Thank you for sharing your story and reminding me that children are our most precious gifts from God and that we need to charish them always.

Happy 3rd birthday Preston. I can't believe you are 3 years old today. I remember clear as day when you were born. I don't think it will ever be possible to forget that. It is hard to imagine you as a big 3 year old now. Daddy and I miss you so much it hurts. We wish we had our little man with us. Big brother went back to school toady 1st grade he was so excited about going but still sad that today is your birthday and your in Heaven. Little sister well she is just being a grump today but I know she misses you too.
