18 Month Angel Day  / Jennifer Harrington (Friend)
Hello sweet boy; just wanting to send my thoughts to you. We all miss you so much. This time of year is so hard on everyone, especially your family.  Thanksgiving just happened to be on your 18 month angel day this year.  It was bittersweet. Giving thanks for all we have, but also hurting so much for what has been lost. I know mommy and daddy are both thankful for the time they did get to share with you.  They look back on all those memories so fondly. Your sister is 20 months old today. That is a hard one to swallow for mama.  20 months.  I know she thinks of you at that age...and all the things you were doing...eating cheetos, trying to keep up with your big brother and also trying to figure out your new little sister. Oh you were such a sweet boy. Why Why Why?  We all ask this all the time but yet to get an answer and I know we won't til we meet again. 

Sweet boy..just stay close to mommy this season. Christmas is appraoching and all the things that are associated around those dates..you just know how hard it is. Send her love, strength, warmth and peace.

Please grant patience to family and friends as we grieve
and help us reach out to others who are bereaved.

"The Little Stinker"  / Someone Who Cares Always (Friend)
I was in the store today, buying my last minutes costume stuff for my parties this weekend and I was walking through the childrens costumes and I saw "The Little Stinker" and "The Moose". And of course I thought of you immediatley.  Oh how I wondered what youd be this year and It dawned on me that I wouldnt get any funny emails from your mommy with pics of you in them. A little boy, ran up next to me and grabbed the moose and screamed to his mommy that thats the one he wanted this year.  I hope you get to be whatever you want this year up in Heaven. And you will always be "The Little Moose" to me.  

Happy Halloween little man.

There are times like tonight when all I can think about is you and how much I know mommy, daddy, Dakota, and Alivia are missing you.  I dont really have anything profound to say right now, but I just wanted to let you and your family know how much I care.  I know mommy needs some extra lovin' lately and through the next few months....please keep holding her tight and sending her those angel kisses of yours :)  I so wish you were here to play with your lil' sis, or should I say be abused by her, I know she is giving big brother Dakota a run for his money!  

Oh sweet boy, it was just too soon.....I wish I could change it all, but right now all I can do is to send my love to you and let you know how much I am thinking about you!  Everyone in my life knows about you and always will....you will never be forgotten Preston angel.

Preston I thought of you so much this weekend. It seemed like you were everywhere I was! I saw two blue balloons at two different times on Saturday and I watched as they floated to Heaven. Both times the clouds were positioned as if they were opening up just so you could catch those balloons. It made me smile, little things like that let me know you are near us always. 
And this weekend I expect lots of butterflies Mister! just like last year!!  Big hugs and kisses to you Moose! Love you always.   Close

Preston, I wanted to share something I read today with you and all of us you love and miss you so much.  

In the Jewish religion when thinking about those whom we have lost it is customary to say "May his memory be for a blessing."  

I immediately thought of you and got shivers knowing today was your 16 mo. angel day.  Your memory is a blessing for so many of us.  We will never forget your bright eyes and big smile.  Your life changed us more than you can ever know.  I promise to always keep your memory going and share your story with everyone I can.  

Preston, I sit here hearing the words from your mommy's mouth and it is still seems just as impossible as it was on that day.  Words cant start to explain how much I miss you sweet boy.

Last Day of August  / Mommy
Well today is the last day of August seems like this month went on forever. It was a really low month for me missing you so much son. Having big brother's birthday party and you were not there to play. I feel like I am looking through 2 different sets of eyes constantly one set is what is actually going on in front of me the other is what I wish was happening. I still can only picture you as my chunky 21 month old with wild hair and a big smile missing your eye teeth. Your walking down the hallway looking like a linebacker so solid so cute not looking like my little baby boy but like a kid. Usually with a pack of fruit snacks in one hand and too many in your mouth.  Guess that was it just needing to write something. Missing you so much son.
